History: Nicholas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. One day when Nicholas was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Nicholas was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: The child of a Blacksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Alex was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
