Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Mary's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. She has achieved small success as a Engraver.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Roland is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
