History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a Courier, his father struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
