History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Description: A 4'8" northern woman, she wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. She keeps her chestnut hair in a flapper bob. She has a dull look in her blue eyes.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Heward hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
