Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Anselm embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Anselm liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a glaive and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: He wears an entirely black suit with pastel socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He is portly but not overly obese. His golden hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He has violet eyes.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Heward was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heward grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heward. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Description: 5'9" and muscular, this southern woman wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty red coat over it. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Matilda was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born in the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult.
