Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Born in the south to a Dilettante, Gilbert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He became a Dilettante soon after.

History: She got into the Tanner business at a young age. After coming to the age of reason, Elysande took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She now owns her own business.
