Personality: He is fixated on the number 57. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman is wearing a long, white, dusty cloak, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her hair is short and red. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sarah grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sarah. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her childhood dream was to be a Masseuse, but she was a colossal failure. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Rolf was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
