History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Cory never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Kody lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Guard. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Rohesia and her spouse have recently divorced.
