Personality: Kody is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Kody alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rosalind fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Interpreter, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
