History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Hadwisa is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Hadwisa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Mason, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
