History: John was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. John was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Layabout. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
