Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. A true patriot, Adelaide would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Adelaide was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelaide fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To protect his home.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a blue cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings. He has done his best to style his chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker blue hat.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against gnolls
