History: Alex was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Detective. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.
