History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature warhammer.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Avice embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Avice and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in the south to a Unemployed, Anthony learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Unemployed.
