History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Simon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'9" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. Her red hair is matted, messy, and big. Her violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Oriel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and wants to raise her children well
