Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Shane was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Tanner but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
