History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her first spouse was a Crown-heir, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Katherine embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Katherine grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born in the south. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Aldous has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aldous fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants.
