Personality: Bernard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born in the east to a Brewer, Bernard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Lance lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
