When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Seamstress hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Hunter for hire.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
