Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Jacoba lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her childhood dream was to be a Cook, but she was a colossal failure. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Marshal for hire.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and to reunite with his old friends

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
