Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Theodoric learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears a simple green robe with black stripes complete with hood. Her hair is brown and very short. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Sybil isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sybil fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
