Through the years after Sybil was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Sybil's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gifted student she started as a Mortician, but she got bored and became a Layabout. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Katherine fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.
