Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a tan coat over a white low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He carries a battered lance and tarnished warhammer as well. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by orcs. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shane fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born in a small desert village. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is unsatisfied with his job
