Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Roland's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
