History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Giselle was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When Giselle reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Agnes was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Agnes's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Robert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Robert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
