History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
