History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is greedy

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
