Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. Avelina enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jacoba grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jacoba. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his shortbow with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt and is in decent physical shape. His hair is short and chestnut. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Roland was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Unemployed. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against giants

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a robe, a symbol of her god around her neck, and a halberd on her belt, and is pretty ugly. Her head has been shaved. Her hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Elysande is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
