History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
