Personality: He is a Cartwright first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family.

Description: An older woman who wears light armors faded through time and improper care, she is not a threatening figure. Her red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. Her green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Susannah was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Theodoric alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he has money and likes to spend it
