History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A freak accident while working with her Shoemaker father left her crippled. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Egelina was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Ruler, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
