Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a performer and was forced into it by his family

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 53. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
