She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on her left hand. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Joan is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
