History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Mary was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Mary took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Conrad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Conrad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has achieved small success as a Performer.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and expand his business

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Herleva was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Map Maker. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
