History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
