History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Alex's homeland. Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a scythe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sailor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sailor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
