Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A freak accident while working with his Scribe father left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
