History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Layabout mother left her crippled. During her travels, Beatrice and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Beatrice discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Beatrice fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
