Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Scribe born in the past three hundred years. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Scribe but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Scribe. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Scribe for the past few years.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Born in the north to a Mason, Wymar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Anne was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has never given up on her painting dream.
