History: Shane was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears suspenders and black workpants. His shirt is white, and he wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. He has a dull look in his blue eyes.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and wants to work out more often

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born to a Doctor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Weaver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Doctor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Weaver, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature warhammer.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
