She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Description: This woman does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her hair is golden, silky, and of moderate length. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Herleva was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Herleva grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Herleva. Being a Layabout kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
