The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: The child of a Spice Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Avelina was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her childhood dream was to be a Spice Merchant, but she was a colossal failure. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 3 years.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and balancing her hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

History: Gifted from a young age, Tim studied abroad. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
