History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Detective like his father before him.
