History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A freak accident while working with his Navigator mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Being a Spice Merchant kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
