History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Reynard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
