History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Nicholas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Nicholas was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Charles isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Charles is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Charles took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
