History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Elysande lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and to reunite with her absent father

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He worked as a nervous Farmer and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Farmer for hire.
