History: Born to a Carter, his father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Gerard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town.
