History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oriel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oriel. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Gerald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: An older woman who dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time, she is not a threatening figure. Her blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. The war was a terrible time for her, and Eloise does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Eloise and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
