History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A freak accident while working with her Courier mother left her crippled. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Maynild was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Alice never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
